These terms cover Chapter One, made by Gazzini Ventures. By using the service, you agree to these terms and our privacy policy. A parent or guardian must manage personalized book creation, child photos, purchases, and sharing.
Your stories and your choices
Only provide names, ideas, or photos you have permission to use. A parent or guardian must authorize the use of a child’s photo. Do not upload harmful, exploitative, unlawful, or infringing content. Do not use the service to impersonate another person or bypass account, purchase, or sharing protections.
Stories, illustrations, and narration are generated with automated tools and may contain mistakes or unexpected details. Preview a new book before sharing it with your child or other families. Chapter One is a family reading activity, not an educational assessment or a guarantee of reading progress.
Book credits
Personalized creation uses book credits purchased through the App Store. One credit creates one complete storybook. Available packs and localized prices are shown before purchase. Book credits are consumable purchases; the sample books are free to read. Purchases and eligible refunds are governed by Apple’s terms.
A connection is needed to make a new book and download its assets. Generation times and availability can vary. The app shows progress and reports failures. Contact us if a purchase or generation job does not complete correctly.
Keep your account and books safe
Save your recovery key privately. It restores access to the account it belongs to; losing both the key and the device may prevent recovery. A recovery key grants account access, so never put it in a shared book or send it to another family. Shared books can be downloaded through the account; export local-only book files for a separate backup.
Deleting an account removes its data and may permanently remove access to remaining credits. Review the in-app confirmation before continuing. Account deletion does not automatically refund a purchase.
Sharing
A shared link lets anyone who has it read that book. You are responsible for the content you choose to share and the people you share it with. You can revoke a link in the app; downloaded copies cannot be recalled. Do not redistribute sample assets or represent another person’s work as your own.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Chapter One dependable, but cannot promise uninterrupted service or that every generated result will suit every family. Keep separate copies of books that matter to you. We may update the app, features, and these terms. Your mandatory consumer rights are not limited by these terms.
