What’s included in a story?
One book credit creates a complete personalized story: illustrations, gentle narration, and a short line for your child to read on every page. The app includes twelve free sample books. Purchases belong behind the grown-ups gate.
Does my child need to be reading already?
No. Read together, listen first, or tap a word for help. The app listens on the device and supports short, beginner-friendly lines. You can also turn the page yourself. Every child gets to take their time.
What happens to their photo and voice?
A photo is optional. When supplied, it is processed to create their illustrated character, then deleted after that stage. Reading recognition happens on the device. Finished books do not contain the original photo. Read our privacy policy.
Can grandparents read along too?
Yes. A grown-up can share a link to the complete book, which opens in a browser. Anyone with the link can read it, so share it with people you trust. You can stop sharing in the app.
How do I keep my books and credits safe?
Save your recovery key from the grown-ups area to restore account access and remaining credits. Export book files for a separate backup. Shared books can be downloaded again; local-only books need their own backup.
